The creative mind behind all of our developments is Mario Reyes, a Chilean researcher who today has been recognized and invited to recount their experiences in research and development by TEDx (Technology – Entertainment – Design, x = independently organized TED event), a nonprofit organization created in April 2007 with one goal: “Do you have an idea? We want to know it”.
“Mario Reyes is a technology innovator who developed the copper powder, used in vaccines and creams because of its ability to repair and absorb human tissues and in military applications and circuits due to its lighter weight. Today the gram of high purity copper powder is sold up to five thousand dollars. Avance Biotechnologies is an agriculture & biotechnology company founded by Mario Reyes Salinas and Juan Rencoret over 10 years ago, with the vision to incorporate products over the national and international markets, based on biological control mechanisms used and enriched with biotechnology.
The boom in global biological control has become one high-impact alternative beneficial to farmers and consumers, who see in it an effective solution to their problems caused by insects, fungi, bacteria and food security, gradually moving the massive use of chemical pesticides.
