Full House signs a scientific collaboration agreement with Schering-Plough
November 13, 2010

Full House’s biotechnological development of goes out to the world through the recent scientific collaboration agreement with Schering-Plough
The V Aquaculture Fair made in Puerto Montt on October 27, 2010 was the place chosen by the executive staffs of Schering-Plough, SARH Bioindustries and Full House, in order to sign a scientific collaboration agreement for products developed by Full House. The meeting was attended by Mr. Mario Reyes Salinas, CEO of Ful House, Mr. Cristino Strange of SARH Bioindustries and Mr. Hank Behrend of Schering-Plough, with their scientific and commercial managers team.
Through this way Full House is gaining ground in the world by developing its own technology. This is the case of Bioshave, another scientific achievement made by Mario Reyes and his team. This enzymatic and zootechnical additive was developed by Full House to combat parasitic Saprolegnia, and has been incorporated into the market through a spin off that becomes SARH Bioindustries.
Bioshave has all the qualities that biotech product must have, such as selectivity, efficiency, zero-traceability and environment and human health compatibility. It can combat disease caused by Oomycetes Saprolegnia sp., a microorganism responsible of big commercial losses of salmonid fish in freshwater stage. Bioshave works efficiently and without violating the international health requirements that prohibit the use of antibiotics and fungicides of teratogenic nature.
With this step Full House continues in its commitment to biotechnology.

UK Trade Mission, London – Birmingham, March 2010
Mr. Mario Reyes, General Manager of our company, was invited to represent Full House S. A. and Sarh Bioindustrias in an event organized by the British Embassy, InnovaChile (CORFO) and GrupoBios, as part of a commercial exchange program for companies dedicated to the use and development of biotechnologies in the food industry. The mission program included several dissemination visits whose aim was to create new business opportunities and leads for Chile and the United Kingdom as well as to introduce and strengthen commercial links between both markets.
The main focus of the trip was the progress and developments achieved in biotechnology in the agro and food industries through visits to public entities such as the laboratories of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) – UK government department responsible for policy and regulations on the environment, food and rural affairs, UKTI – the Department for the Promotion of Trade and Investment and the Biotechnology Department of University of Birmingham. Furthermore, meetings were held with relevant companies active in the area of biotechnologies, as well as an extensive visit to Foodex trade show and a presentation on IP protection – all the above aimed at introducing the Chilean participants to the varied and competitive market of biotechnology in Great Britain.
These activities offer better opportunities for technological exchanges and the creation of new business opportunities in the biotechnology market of which Full House S. A. is a leader and a reference point in the country.
More information on the trade mission and participants can be found at the website of the British Embassy in Santiago.
